What does Bebeotte mean?

Bebeotte [beh-beh-ot] is a mix of bebe ('baby' in French) with 옷 ('otte', clothing in Korean). Our manufacturers and brands are based in Korea and every piece of clothing is made in Korea, from small family-owned factories. All clothing are ethically made using quality materials suited for delicate baby and children's skin.

What is KC Certification?

KC certification, or Korea Certification, is a product certification which ensures the conformity of products to Korean Safety standards. The KC Certification focuses on prevention and reduction of risks regarding safety, health or impact on the environment. Textile (such as cotton) for children and babies fall under the category that requires KC Certification. Acquiring the KC mark may involve KC supplier confirmation, product tests and/or factory audits.

How is our product packaged? 

At Bebeotte we believe in doing what we can for the environment. What we do now will impact on the world that our little ones will live in! Our garments are packaged in compostable packaging (that is acid-free tissue paper, packed in compostable mailer bags, labeled with compostable labels...you get the idea).

What is a compostable bag and how long does it take to breakdown?

Compostable bags are made from plant-based starch, PLA (plant based plastic material) and PBAT (composting co-polymer) and do not product any toxic materials. Our compostable bags are certified to break down within 180 days in home compost, and 90 days in a commercial compost. Which is a much better option than a traditional plastic packaging which can take hundreds of years to break down!

How should I wash your clothing?

We recommend cold gentle machine wash with like colours. No bleach, soak, tumble dry or dry clean. A lot of information to take in at once? Don't worry, a Garment Care card will be sent out with your purchase!

Do you restock sold out products?

Short answer: Sometimes! There are certain products that we're able to restock, so please email us at hello@bebeotte.com.au if you have any questions.
